VILLAGE HISTORY GROUP SCHEDULE

All meetings are held on the 3rd Saturday of the month at 10:15 AM through May unless otherwise noted. They are at the Charlotte Branch Library 3557 Lake Ave, Rochester, NY 14612 at the corner of Britton Rd.  The topics are about the Village of Charlotte each month and there is an open segment that you can bring up information that you would like to share.

The event is FREE and open to the public.

SUBJECT:  “The Car Ferry

WHERE:  Meeting at the Charlotte/Britton Rd Library, 3557 Lake Ave., Rochester, NY 14612;  Basement

HIGHLIGHTS:  Tom Brewer on the “Charlotte Coal Docks & More”. Tom grew up and still lives in the Charlotte area of Rochester and has documented the history of the coal docks with color slides and movies as well. He will also have some images of the BR&P car ferry operation. This is a program not to be missed. Visitors are welcome! You do not need to be a member to attend.

There are no meetings during June, July and August.
