Sept. 6th & 7th 2007: FIRST ANNUAL ARTS &
CRAFT SHOW PHOTOS

Sept. 8th, 2007: 25th Lighthouse Anniversary Celebration:
Around 80 visitors,
including current and former volunteers of the Charlotte Genesee
Lighthouse Historical Association gathered to commemorate Commander Alan
Rosebrook of the United States Coast Guard handing over the keys of the
Charlotte Light Station to Jim Beebe of the Charlotte Community
Association on September 12, 1982. This event was the beginning of a
dream by many in the Charlotte area to refurbish and preserve the
Lighthouse. As we look back at the 25 years we see many dedicated
volunteers who have lead the way to making a dream come true.
Below are photos taken
by Doug Moran from the re-enactment of this historical occasion.

Without their help the job could not have been done”.
