Former President Fred Amato and Vic-President Chris Franco were not eligible to run for re-election because of term limits but were both elected as Trustees and will both continue their involvement in the organization.

Newly elected President, Bob Owens was born and raised in Buffalo, NY.  He has recently retired from WXXI-TV, Rochester where he served as Director of Television Programming from 1982-2009.  “I look forward to working with the new Board of Directors and continue the growth of the Organization with new and exciting programs over the next two years” states Bob. On April 12, 2005 Bob received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Public Television Programmers Association. Outgoing President Fred Amato, states that “I am looking forward to the leadership that Bob brings to the board and his continuing the progressing movement in preserving the Lighthouse Landmark and the educations programs of the Society”.
