Rochester's Swinging Bridge

The old Swing Bridge over the Genesee River which is on the list for demolition by the CSX Railroad as recommended by the Army Corp. of Engineers.

Walk the sideway which was formerly Beach Ave. east or walk the nearby pier at the mouth of the Genesee River. Under high wind conditions, view the waves hitting against the Charlotte Pier.
